We’re seeking a Data Scientist to join our team and help drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. In this role, you’ll extract insights from complex datasets, build predictive models, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**
You’ll analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns and trends that inform business strategy. This includes designing and implementing machine learning models for prediction, classification, and optimization problems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business leaders to define key questions and translate them into analytical frameworks. A significant part of the role involves building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support ongoing analysis. You’ll also create clear visualizations and presentations to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences, and stay current with emerging techniques in machine learning, statistics, and data science.
**Required Qualifications**
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering (master’s or PhD preferred). You should have strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data manipulation libraries like pandas and visualization tools. Solid understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and their practical applications is essential, along with experience working with SQL and relational databases. Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills round out the core requirements.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and A/B testing methodologies would be valuable additions. Domain expertise in our industry and familiarity with MLOps practices are also beneficial.
